Dr. Valerie Mac, APRN, ENP-C, FNP-C, SANE, PhD is from Atlanta, GA, and currently resides in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
She has served as a community health nurse for 20 years in the roles of public health scientist, field epidemiologist, nursing instructor/assistant professor, and public health clinician with demonstrated history of working with under-resourced populations for public health practice and community-based research such as environmental and occupational health for farmworkers and firefighters to describe physiologic biomarkers of inflammation and illness and the gut microbiome.
She has a clinical specialization as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in forensic nursing and tropical diseases. Dr. Mac has complete level 1 breath work training under David Elliot’s teaching lineage and is currently training in Colorado to become a licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator.
